Portals I // Cascade

Portals is a series of works produced to create a liminal space between our present material world and the deeper spiritual realms surrounding it. This series is based on the concept of visual disruption, layers of visual complexity endlessly flowing to create a peaceful space; A visual canvas for meditation. Cascades falls vertically, the downward direction signifies the perpetual flow of love from heaven to earth. We don’t have to earn or achieve love, we simply have to be and receive. To experience this rather than looking at the details of the noise look try to look through or beyond the piece… allow the flow to draw you into a meditative state... Take a deep breath in, step forward, out of what surrounds you, and into a waterfall of love. Experience the cascade and allow it to fall on your body. What are you most aware of?
